Based in London, Craddock is a self taught florist who has been chosen as the official floral designer for the royal wedding. She will be directing a team of florists to create the grand displays at St. George’s Chapel. The displays will “be created using locally sourced foliage, much of which will be taken from the gardens and parkland of The Crown Estate and Windsor Great Park.”
Craddock has said that “working with them (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle) has been an absolute pleasure. The process has been highly collaborative, free-flowing, creative and fun. ”
Seeing as though the wedding is in May, she’ll be taking advantage of flowers in season, like peonies and foxgloves. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have arranged for all of the flowers to be donated to a variety of charities after the wedding.
