I want to start this announcement by saying that it has nothing to do with politics or parties, elephants or donkeys. This is simply a matter of the heart. Over the last several years I've been troubled with the increasing amount of hate and intolerance we've seen in our world. From police brutality to disrespect of our officers; from travel bans to white supremacy rallies, from backs being turned on our DACA recipients to the leader of our country refusing to call a spade a spade. I've been hurt & challenged with what to do. As a white, straight, Christian woman who most certainly is about as privileged as they come, I've been left to search the deepest part of my soul for an answer to this question: "What can I do to fix this?" The answer is really very simple. I can't fix it. Not alone.
